Statement of Faith

The Trinity
We believe in one God who is eternal and infinite and the Creator of all things. God exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are equal but distinct in role and function.
statement of faith
God the Father
God the Father is the first person of the Trinity and the source of all God is and does. He is the Creator, the author of salvation, and the ruler of history. Jesus is the only begotten Son of the Father. The Spirit eternally proceeds from both the Father and the Son.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God

Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, is fully God and man. Miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose physically from the dead. He ascended to heaven and now intercedes for believers.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and equal in deity. He is the giver of life, the agent of inspiration and regeneration, and the one who empowers believers for holy living. He convicts the world of sin and sanctifies all who trust in Christ.
Creation
God created all things in six historical days. Angels were made to serve God, but some, led by Satan, rebelled and became agents of evil. Humans were created in God’s image as moral, reasoning beings, designed to rule creation under God’s authority. The universe reflects God’s glory and reveals His truth.
The Holy Scriptures
The Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is God’s inspired and inerrant Word. It was written by human authors under divine guidance. It is the ultimate authority in all matters. The Holy Spirit enables understanding as readers interpret Scripture in its historical and grammatical context.
Humanity
God created humans as male and female in His image. Life is sacred from conception to natural death. Adam’s disobedience brought sin and death into the world, separating all people from God. Every person is a sinner by nature and by choice, deserving of eternal punishment.
The Work of Christ
Jesus Christ’s obedient life, sacrificial death, and resurrection fulfilled God’s plan of redemption. He died on the cross in full substitution and payment for sin and offers forgiveness to everyone who trusts in Him. His work ensures eternal life for believers.
Salvation
Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. By repenting from sin and believing in Him, a person is declared righteous, born again by the Holy Spirit, and assured of eternal life.
The Church
The church is the body and bride of Christ, comprised of local assemblies of believers who gather to worship God, grow in faith, and share the Gospel. It is self-governing and operates through the ministry of spiritual gifts bestowed by the Holy Spirit upon each member. The church practices the ordinance of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper and is led by pastors and deacons. Its great commission is to glorify God by making disciples and teaching the Holy Scriptures.
Marriage and Family
Marriage is a lifetime covenant between one natural-born man and one natural-born woman, instituted by God for companionship, a reflection of Christ’s relationship with the church, and raising children in the faith. Families are called to honor God in their relationships and responsibilities.

THE RETURN OF CHRIST

Jesus Christ will return to gather believers in the rapture. This will be followed by a period of tribulation, his millennial reign, and judgment. All believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God and His holy angels in heaven. The rebellious unsaved will be resurrected and judged based on their ungodly deeds. They will then be eternally separated from God in a Lake of Fire, along with Satan and his demons.

Join the Great Commission!

We invite everyone to get involved in the great commission; whether through prayer, joining a Bible study, or sharing the Good News Gospel. The Bible in Matthew 28:19 encourages all believers to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost.” Together, we can help spread God’s message of love and salvation!
